Cáñar offers traditional Alpujarra architecture with white houses with flat roofs and tinaos as typical arcades. Among its heritage elements we highlight the Fountain of the Plaza Santa Ana with an octagonal floor plan built with limestone blocks and four bronze pipes, the old laundries of the Fuente Yabajo and the Santa Ana Church from the s. XVl with its rope clock from the s. XlX and its baroque organ of the s. XVlll as an important jewel to visit.
